but I presume we will have to stay here 2 or 3 weeks and maybe longer, but I will keep you all posted and give the true Statements Serring, Crist, Walton, Putnam, Nixon Long, Lynn Beaver and myself I believe are all of the Union Co boys that are out here. I hear that Oliver Goodwin is nearly well again I believe all the rest of the Union boys are well I do not think of any news to write as one day is just like another here. The weather is good for the time of year. and no snow so far. The pay master has not made his appearance yet but we are looking for him evry day. I think the mare had better be sold for what she will bring I wrote Beard a letter a few days since and made a proposition to take $60,00 for her on the rent for the tavern. Use your own pleasure about getting groceries but do not get any Coffee as I will send you a box of it soon as I can get it here for 14 cts which will pay. I herein send you a bill on Sam Miner which I want presented to him for payment and also the express bill on the goods
