I also send you my journal up to this time which has kept me writing for several days to it brought up. Tell Sis I will write her a letter soon. Tell Henry Husted not to pay us a visit at present Tell mother that letters have come here complimenting her verry highly in regard to her Presidential honors. There was 2 large Boxes of goods come to our company 2 or 3 days since from the Wabash so that evry one in our company has plenty of clothing and bedding at present. and if we have to march soon many a good blanket quilt or Coverlid will have to be thrown away. I must close for the present but will write again soon. I will write several letters to different ones soon as I have plenty of time now as I have no drilling to do Your affectionate husband A. F.
