Nancy in her last letter to me says that Milton Tucker was dangerously wounded by being shot through the breast. He belongs to the 7th Ind and I suppose that it took place somewhere in Western Va. as that Regt. is under Fremont. His wife Jane went and brought him home. Where is Mark now. I have not heard from him for sometime. The train is in sight so I must close immediately. Give my respects to to all. My love to yourself and the children and tell Orilla that I must have a letter from her soon. Direct to Gen Woods Division Huntsville All. in addition to what you generally put on your letters. This is paymaster day for to make out pay rolls and perhaps we will get our pay again in a week or two.
