But I see in the papers that the Army of the Cumberland is about to advance but we can't see the indications and one thing is certain if they go now they will have to go the lower road for the top one wont bear them I also see that there is supposed to another invasion of Kentucky by the Rebs. If so would not be surprised if they would try to cross into Indiana. Expect we will have to go back to the Ohio again. Well you see by the enclosed that the long looked Pay Master has come at last and I send you $75.00 which is more than I expected to be able to send you this time but Some of the boys who I owed here said they would rather I would keep the money if I needed it so I kept some of it I drew $205.25 and I paid $80.00 of the borrowed money and $30.00 Comissary bill and send you $75.00. Now I will tell you what I think you had better do if you can and that is this. Let those who you owe in Tippecanoe wait 2 or 3 months longer and pay $50.00 to Fred on the note of March 15 and I think by that time I can pay him $100. more and he will have to wait a little longer for the other $50.00 for I am almost sure that I
