Murfreesboro Tenn March 5, 1863 Mrs. Sarah Davis Dear wife I have looked in vain for the last week for a letter from you but none comes but why I cannot tell. Therefore I will write to you again this evening. Luther Beaver tells me that his father wrote to him on the 25 inst that you was in Liberty which surprised me very much as you last wrote that you would go home the 1st Monday in March if I sent you money but I suppose you got tired of waiting and went sooner. I started $75.00 to you yesterday from Nashville but it will go to [Clars Hill?]. I sent it by Capt McKinney day before yesterday but did not know until yesterday that you was in Liberty. When you receive it you will find a letter with it which gives my [illegible] in regard
