Murfreesboro Tenn March 14 1863 Mrs. Sarah Davis My dear wife why is it I wonder that I do not receive any more letters from you. The last one I got from you was written Feb. 15 1863 just one month tomarrow and you may be sure that my feelings are sad, for others are receiving letters evry day only two or three days old but none comes for me. I do not even know where you are. I heard from Beaver, you was in Liberty but that was sooner than you wrote to me that you was going. Some days since I sent you $75.00 and in this I send you one hundred $100.00 more. We received pay yesterday for Nov. & Dec. and have more due us for Jan & Feb. and there is some talk that we will receive that soon but I think very doubtful. Pay Fred all you can spare and he
