was all. I'd give a great deal if I only had some peaches to eat this morning - it wd. do me a heap of good I think. There is nothing to write about here. I never hear any news and have not seen a paper since I came down - and it will be three weeks day after to morrow. What has thee concluded to do with my things when thee goes away. Remember me to all inquiring friends. Has Mrs. Burns been over to see me yet or any one else from a distance. Be sure and take my trunk down to M. with thee so that I can have it when I come. I must stop writing now and send this to be mailed - so that it will go soon - Write often and tell me all the news - with much love thy affectionate daughter Laura
