since I came down but have not received one yet from thee. Will got one yesterday. Has thee heard from Cincinnati yet - I wrote to Hez and Lizzie - but have not had time to write to any one else yet. This is Sunday afternoon and very warm - I am in my tent, "The Pavillion" all the Officers call it. Will's orderly made a nice large bower of small trees and then put up my tent inside of the bower - and that leaves a space about as large as thy room in front of the tent to sit in when I don't want to stay in the tent. it is perfectly shaded - at one end is a settee made with boards laid on stakes driven in the ground - a stand made in the same way serves me for a center table - in the tent is a double cot and a box for a washstand - a large piece of carpet, indeed I have carpet for the whole thing so I have it very clean and nice.
