TUESDAY, JUNE 30, 1863. it is A raining A little to day We Are camp Near tanytown M.D. We was musterd for two months pay We march 10 miles to day WEDNESDAY, JULY 1 it is A raining to day We Are on the march to day We march 12 miles to day thare is firing in front We camp Near Gettsy Burg tonight THURSDAY 2 it is cloudy this morning thare is very heavey firing now I was taken prisoner this evening
