kind to me indeed Mary Alice She She was with them & she sent me a nice finger ring for you May that my carpet sack is Pretty well filled if i get an opportunity i would send my neck tie to William the girls ar very nicely Dressed and look quit Ladie like they felt very sorry that i could not go up and stay with them last night But the Colonel orders was that no man should Be permited to go asshore although i was Permited to go up on the street to see them yesterday the 119 illinois regiment Passed us on they way to heleanea and yesterday afternoon the iowa 20 left here for the same Place i must conclude as the mail Leaves shortly give my love to William & Margaret from you Affectionat Son Robert Moyle P.S i will write as soon as I get to heleanea and if that order should Be Countermanded i will write immediatly to you R M When you write direct to St Louis 25 regiment Iowa Volenteers Compay C
