I was glad to hear that [your?] hogs done so well I think it will pay well to put hogs up early in a pen you can make more of them that way then letting them run out untill fall. I want you to get in as large a crop as possible this year for things such as the farmer raises will bring a good price this comming year and if I do not get home in time to help put them in I will to help get them up, and i would set out as many Locust trees along the front that is missing as you can we have not got any pay yet as soon as i do i will send it home and if you can get some nice sheep i would like to have you by me four ore five then. to day John got a letter from Margare and it gave great satisfaction to know that yous were well inclosed i send you a piece of the rebel flag that waved over the fort at arkansas post also a confederat hostage stamp i must close my love to mother, sister & brother from you son Robt Moyle John is working in the Bake house with me
