mares that had colts sold for $150 and none under 100 dollars there was a great many sold horses that were nothing more then a mere shadow and could hardley walk sold for 25 & 30 dollars apiece. Aunt Jane received 20 dollars from you (get a receipt for it) the proceeds of some grain you sold for her she is in the country at present her lease will be out in October for the property she has in St Louis and she says she will move then. Father I sorry you have so much to do but get along the Best you can I think there will be plenty of help up there next spring I
