almost every day this week and had something nice to eat which suited me very well as you know i was always fond of good eating there is plenty of strawberrys & cherries new potatos & cabbage & green peas there is all kinds of new vegetables Charles Dripps is at aunts he is a very pleasant man & sociable he is looking for a situation on the river aunt jane will send you a receipt for what money you sent her she talks some of going up to spend the summer with yous Mrs. Dripps talks that she would like to go up to Mr. Dripps says. how is that suit of Janes going on are they doing
