them a great deal more so then ever they were with them in their own regiment and there is some talk of them being sent down the river John says he will go to his regiment when he gets his pay and there will be a great may others do the same. how is Captain Newbold getting along I hope he is getting better give my respects to him when you see him and [withrow?] they were always very kind to me Robert Davidson also he is a very kind man he helped to carry me to the Boat When I was first taken sick. I am ready any time to go down the river as soon as I get my pay but I aint going to urge the matter I will leave it with the doctor when he says so
