in the same morning but the coweraldly dogs had heard of our coming and skedadled the cavalry captured some of the rebels and brought them in with us we got Back to camp at Six in the evening a good many of the Boys are hobling about camp to day complaining of their feet but they will be all right in a day or two my own feet felt tolerable Sore but to night I dont feel it and I would not care to have them Sore a week for the satisfaction of helping to give them rebels a drubing there is a great many of the rebels coming in and giving them selves up I think the rebelion will Soon play out they cant Stand against our Boys. Mother I think
