Seen Jeffersons Rock on Boliver Highths a place where Jefferson made a Speeche in the Revolution. a rock seating on 4 posts returned to Columbus in the morning of the 6th, Left for Chattanooga on the 7th at Nashville on Sunday 9th on 10 at half past 9 oclock AM heard the News of the Surrender of Robert Lee to Genl Grant with the returning of theyr Side arms, Left for Chattanooga 10th at 3 PM
