4th May to Cincinnati with Paroled Prisoner John Morgan in the [?] got his coat & sent it by [Adwins?] Express. 11th went to fort Delaware with a sentensed Deserter. layed from the 11 to 12 in [Baltimore?]. 12th. Left at 10 1/2 AM on the Pittsbg Cleveland Road, at Steubenville at 12 o clock, and Smiths Ferry 3 [wore?] and Oil wells on 2 rods of ground. Dozends of Oil wells right on the river bank but all run out except one. Struck the P. F W.. & Oh. R. at Rochester got to Pittsburgh at 3 1/2 PM. Left at 4 PM on Pensylvanya Central through Harrisbg
