FRIDAY, MARCH 4, 1864. Sill Employed in Making Muster and Pay Rolls - Seven New Recruits Joined us this day having been to the Front at Chattanooga Tenn. through some persons Carelessness SATURDAY 5 Drilled Co. and Finished Muster and Pay Rolls Detailed as Officer of day. Posted two set of Pickets and had my Regular Sleep until Three Oclock in the Morning SUNDAY 6 Policed Camp - Need all unserviceable Ordnance Inspected. Received 27 Horses from Nashville in Tolerable good condition Received a letter from Prof William and one from sister Hannah.
