SUNDAY, MARCH 13, 1864. Finished issuing Ordnance attended Church heard a very fine discourse, Went to water Call and saw the Horses attended to. MONDAY 14 Reported to Capt. Mussey said I was to have a Position as I passed the Board as a first Class Capt; I declined accepting so am doing duty in Co [73?] this night as usual Raining slightly. Mackey is Running [Co?] as Orderly TUESDAY 15 Considerable sickness in Co. at this time among new Recruits. Cold at Night and some little snow
