WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16, 1864. Ground Covered with Snow. Cold, drilled squadron drill two Hours in forenoon. [Batt?] three hours in afternoon under Maj. Sandersen, Sick all night THURSDAY 17 Got up early - attended all Calls - this day - drilled twice Co.s B&D forming one Squadron. Unwell so much that took medicine Train Captured somewhere between Murfreesboro Tenn and FRIDAY 18 Unwell Excused from duty. E.C. Gregg sent to Nashville Tenn in detail for horses.
