FRIDAY, MARCH 25, 1864. Rained all day only enough to keep off drill. as Comdg. officers do not like to get themselves wet - Good for them. Rec. a letter from home stating James was still alive and a Prisoner, in SATURDAY 26 Did various duties such as drill. Make quarterly Returns. attend all calls - am quite unwell - Fear for my health this summer SUNDAY 27 Not quite so well, had Inspection by Col, drew the following ord for Co. "B" 10th O.V.C. 12 Horse Blankets, 2 Carbine Cart. Boxes, 5 Sabre Belts and Plates.
