MONDAY, MARCH 28, 1864. Feel considerable much improved in health. Made a Muster Roll for Co "B". And am still engaged in equiping the men of Co's B and A. TUESDAY 29 Have to time to attend to any thing except Roll Calls stable Calls and Drill Calls, yet Receive numerous orders from headquarters all of which have not time to attend unto Rec. of Col. Smith 16 horse Blankets 4 Curry combs and 4 Brushes, feel well but fatigued with so much labor. WEDNESDAY 30 Still employed equiping Co "A" 10th O.V.C. Officer of day made the Picket Round about 3 O'Clock P.M. Relieved by Capt S Received a Commission as Capt in 10th O.V.C. issued by Jno. Brough Gov. of Ohio to rank as such from March 17th 64. And notified Gov of aceptance
