TUESDAY, MAY 3, 1864. Am enjoying tolerably good health - The Climate is very pleasant in the daytime and Very Cool at Night WEDNESDAY 4 Are under Marching orders but expect pay before we Move, Sent Monthly Report of Q.M. Stores also of C.C.& G. Equipage for the month of apr. 1864. THURSDAY 5 Muster Rolls completed Are on the eve of a general Movement or some Grand Raid. Troops are collecting here by thousands and we are ordered to turn over all surplus ordnance & Q.M. Stores and have 100 Rounds Amunition - drilled in afternoon as usual -
