TUESDAY, MAY 24, 1864. In same Camps - The only thing of interest or excitement is a Raid By wheeler in which it is reported he destroyed 40 Wagons. but it is almost impossible to learn the truth of said Rumor - but am informed by an eyewitness that Wheler did make a raid 6 miles below Kingston. WEDNESDAY 25 Went to Kingston with a train of 20 Wagons for Rations arrived about noon loaded and started out about 4 O'Clock P.M. the Wagon Master Parked and encamped contrary to my orders - for which am going to prefer charges - Also against A.Clark [?] the train [Cloudy?] Rained THURSDAY 26 Left Camp 2 miles from Kingston towards Adairville early and made the latter place about Noon train all Right - Rested all after noon. No Car Running this day fear an attack might be made on them
