FRIDAY,JUNE 17, 1864. All quiet - Keep up a Patrol constantly. Men stay in Camp unless they receive permission from me. Was notified late in the evening that I would be relieved to-morrow SATURDAY 18 Raining a fine growing shower. A rumor that Wheeler is in the rear of our left Flank with 2000 Cav. is prevailing There is also a rumor of heavy fighting in front - Wheeler is working around on our left for the purpose of burning train which he was successful in past - succeeded in burning fifteen Cars. SUNDAY 19 Raining. Otherwise Pleasant was Relieved by a Co. of the 5th Ky Cav. about eight 8 Oclock A.M. arrived in Camp near gillums Bridge about 2 O'Clock P.M.
