SATURDAY, JULY 2 1864. Warm. very - in camp all day. under Marching Orders SUNDAY 3 Left camp at 5 O'Clock A.M. with my Co. "A" and escorted Head Qrs 3rd Cav. Div. to Cartersville Tenn. On the R.R where it is the intention to encamp. Suffered much on account of heat of Sun. MONDAY 4 all quiet here in Camp a few shots were fired Contrary to Orders. Hear no news from front reliable,
