SUNDAY, JULY 17, 1864. Attended Church in the Evening - did no duty of any kind except the necessary part each day Required [Leit. O & V?] was the [Left?]. MONDAY 18 Warm - do nothing but the ordinary Camp Routine Lt. Hill & Ord. McCullock are very active in aiding me taking the burden of governing the Co off my shoulders TUESDAY 19 Every thing Running as usual Except Lt. Hill was promote to 1st Lt. and now we have no 2" Lt. but presume one will soon be mustered. Hope Ord Sergt McCulloch. Ord Report 2" Qr 1864 forwarded to Washington D.C.
