THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 1864. On Same duty - and felt somewhat used up by having to Ride Horse Back. FRIDAY 16 On Same duty - and quite unwell - so much so could scarcely Ride. SATURDAY 17 Unable to go in duty Took my Bed with either inflammation in Bowels or the Typhoid Fever and think our surgeon has pronounced it Typhoid. Suffered much all day.
