Camp Moreland Tenn. January 16th 1864 Dear friends I again take my seat to write you a few lines to inform you that I am still well and hearty I have not Received any Letter from you since the 31 of Dec nor from Hannah Either nor Jo for some what Longer time still I Look Every mail but in vain I begin to think the time long to hear from home I don't get as many from home as I write to you Well we have verry good times here at present we have not took any more scouts since the big one we took on new years Day which I wrote you word about in my las letter that I wrote you
