There is no prospect of us leaveing this place before spring and maby not then and as long as we stay here we will have no fighting to do more than chase the bush whackers and we cant get close enough to them to fight they have been puting up a hospittle here the Last few Days but I dont think there will be many to go to it for the health of the Regt. is as good as I ever saw we have had one Die in our Co. and that was Corporal Gasky, he Died in Louisville, K.Y. Well I believe I never told you what I thought of the Noble state of Tenn I can tell you in verry few words it is the Poorest place I ever saw I would not take a farm as a gift and
