be compelled to Live on it it is true there is now and then a farm that Lays on a Creek that is tolerable good But the most that I see is Rock it is the most mountaninous rockys place I ever saw there is not more than one fifth of it improved it is nothing strang to travil five or six miles without seeing a house There is good timber and that is all that I see in Tenn. I have not saw a barn in the state and not but two schools since I left Louisvill and most all old log houses no orcherds worth any thing what is Looks Like they was 100 years old if not more in short it is the most Lord forsaken place I ever saw in my Life
