Camp Moreland Tenn Feb 6 1864 Dear Brother and sisters I again take my seat this pleasant morning to try to write you a few lines to let you know that I am well at present and I hope that these few Lines may find you Enjoying the same kind blessing I have not Received any Letter from you now for more than a week I make it a rule to write once a week when I am in Camp There is none of our Battalion out on a scout now we are all here in Camp we have had verry nice spell of weather for the past week Last knight rained a Little and is a Little cooler to Day Well we still take a few of the Rebels along occasionally we sent three to Nashville the other Day our Regiment has taken something Near three Hundred prisinors since we came out in the field and we have not Lost but thre taken prisinors and two or three wounded one prisanor they shot
