AUGUST. 13. Batheng form a promanant part of our amusement hardly a day passes without takeng a swim 14. Sunday morning finds us all alive and well - plenty to eat and wear with good spirits Rebels make their appearanc at Dalton and Tilton Fighting begins 15. Co's H & I captured by rebels Left our camp 3 miles from Tilton and marched to Tilton where an attacked was expected no fighting except a little picket firing occurs R. R. torn up east of Tilton return to old camp
