DECEMBER. 1. Thursday Camp near Blackshear Station as transportation could not be procured, no Prisoners were sent off to day" Weather warm Out of rations and hungry 2. Friday The thousand Prisoners which left on 29th ult returned to Camp to day, after going up to Savanah,, Rebels intended to send us to south Carolina, but could not,on the account of movements of Federal troops 3. Saturday Number of Prisoners now in the camp is about 4000, Some escape from Camp nearly every night, but are generaly recaptured
