1864 Continued found doing provost duty 8th Presidential Election 17th was Paid 21st Taylor arrived with veterans unit 24th Thanksgiving day 26th on fatigue duty December 4th regimental inspection Sunday and in the evening the corp was ordered out to lay in ambush for a partie of rebs that was said to be going to attack the picketts came in on the morning of the 5th 7th was on fatigue loading wood 4 miles above town 13th was sargent of the guard 18 Sunday was on fatigue loading wood 4 miles above town 22nd General inspection by Major Gen Canbie inspecting officer at 3, P.M. 25th Sunday Christmas 27th got orders to go on a scout 28th Morning of the 28th at 6 oclock A.M.
