1865 Continued 20th Started at 6 oclock A.M. and marched untill 12 M. and camped on the eleven mile creek with orders to march again in the morning 21st Started at 8 oclock A.M. 83rd was detailed to help the train through the swamp got to camp at 6 P.M. very bad roads (distance 4 miles 22nd Layed all day where we camped 21st Cavelry and colored passed and camped about one mile beyond 23rd Started at 10 oclock A.M. marched untill 5 P.M. and camped on a small creek called Pine Creek colored troops ahead distance 9 miles 24th Layed in camp untill 5 P.M. delay building a bridge crossed the creek went one mile beyond and camped it being after dark distance 2 miles 25th Started at 8 oclock A.M. Marched untill 4 P.M. and camped on a small [illegible] slight skirmishing ahead
