1865 Continued very bad roads and rain distance 9 miles 30th Started at 10 oclock, A.M. Marched untill 6, P.M. companies E, K and, G guarding prisoners roads very bad distance 8 miles 31st Started at 5 1/2 oclock. A.M. marched untill 2 P.M. camped on the Tensaw Buyo distance 17 miles April. 4. month, 1865 1st Started at 10 oclock A.M. marched untill 8 P.M camped was on regimental guard distance 8 miles 2nd Sunday Started at 5 1/2 oclock A.M. Marched about 6 miles and came up with the enemy 2 miles from Bleakeley Ala Skirmishing in front companies H, E and K guarding prisoners but was relieved by the 2nd N.Y. cavelry at 12 M reported to the regt. regt. moved to the left wing and at dark went to support the picketts
