A.M. went out of town 3 miles to camp in a pine grove where the balance of the 13th army corps was camped 15th Layed in camp all day 16th was detailed in the evening to guard at Brigade Headquarters Paymaster arrived in evening and paid four companies. 17th was paid sent one hundred and fifteen dollars to Sarah J Smith relieved of guard in evening rumor of the captur of Jeff Davis 18th General inspt. at 10 oclock.A.M. captur of Jeff Davis confirmed 19th layed in camp all day 20th " " " " " 21st Sunday company inspection at 9 oclock.
