1865 Continued 18th had to await untill 11 oclock for a rise of the tide got off of the barr at 11. A.M. run about 5 miles and anchored the captain of the boat thinking it to rough on the bay for the boat as the wind was blowing verry hard 19th raised anchor at Sunrise and started the bay still verry rough but the captain did not think it prudent to wait longer got to Galveston at 10 oclock, A.M. 20th the buildings that companies D and E was quartered in was consumed by fire the fire took place at 1 oclock. P.M. company moved on Stran St remained on duty at Provost Marshalls office 21st = = = = = 22nd = = = = = 23rd Sunday = = = 24th Eighty Third Ohio was mustered Out
