1865 Continued regiment received orders to go to Houston at 7 oclock next morning on board of a steamboat 2nd at 7 oclock four companies left for Houston C. D. E. & F but I was retained by an order from Gen Kent cmd Post to still remain at the Prison 3rd still remained in charge of the prison 4th companies A and B left for Houston still remained in charge of the Prison 5th " " " 6th Sunday had a squad of men turned over to me to escort to Houston 7th was relieved of the Prison in the morning and got transportation for the squad that was turned over to me to go to Houston started at 5 oclock P.M. on the Isiland City
