1865 Continued 28 remained with the compan 29" Sunday General Inspection inspection by Maj Gen Mawey at .10.A.M. 30" layed in camp all day 31" " " " November 11" Month 1865 1st Receved orders to be ready to move at 5 oclock next morning destination Galveston Texas 2nd went to the wharf and got on board of the Steamboat A. S. Ruthven at 10 oClock P.M. run about 1/2 mile and had to tie up as annother boat was aground and we could not pass her excepting a rise of the tide 3rd in consequence of no rise of the tide we were compelled to take such baggage as was necessary and get on board of the cars left a guard on the boat with the balance of our baggage arrived at
