July from Sister 10th answered Sisters letter lay in camp all day climbed a tall tree to see the country saw smoke as of a cannon (to our right) but could hear no report, in our front & rear right & left there is not much to be seen but a vast wilderness the country very broken & hilly had a refreshing thunder shower 11th in camp occasionally could hear a cannon bathed in the Chattahoochee
