Oct left threw all the obstructions in the road they could by felling trees, we march through & about four miles out & camp at a 4 corners one road leading to the gap one to ringold one to Tunnel Hill & one to Dirt town after we went into camp a house near us took fire & burned down we drew rations by the light of it distance marched 18 miles 17th lay in Camp & gather Chestnuts wagons passing all day & night
