Nov 31st Start at daylight cross the Etowa river into Rome about 41 recruits join us march out on the Calhoun road (via Hermitage P.O.) march 18 miles go into camp at sun set our Officers that went home on furlow from Decatur join us at Rome Nov 1st march at 6 AM march to Resaca via Calhoun arrive at 1 PM expect to take the train at 2 lay in camp all night cars & wagons running all night
