took a train for Johnsonville, the road is guarded all the way by Colored troops, we had no rationswe stoped at a station where there was pork piled up on the platform we roled a barrel aboard of our car & issued it out, at another place we took on board five boxes of hard bread then we were in a fair way of living 11th arrived at Johnsonville about 2 1/2 AM
