Decem prisoners the rebs are busy at work in front of us all night 6th in forenoon had orders to pack up & be ready to move at 12 oClock, lay in readiness untill nearly night then pitched our tents again & remain in same camp the weather for the past 10 days has been mild 7th & 8th weather very cold nothing unusual going on some cannonading 9th ground covered with sleet & snow tents stiff as boards weather cold
