Sunday 31st - Left camp at 1/2 past 3. A.M. Rather poor country for 4 or 5 miles rest of the way to Clynes Ranch 15 miles good country From Clynes Ranch to Teumacula 6 miles Best country have seen on the rout. Traveled 22 miles, Arived at Tomakely 11 A.M. Vidett station, Corn free in an old Indian garden. Plenty of pears & peaches in scrubby trees (Vertically, from bottom left:-) Distance traveled to day 22 miles
