Lat de 43.14 N. long de 65.25 W distance run 254 - Boston 53 miles off. arrived at Boston at 5 P.M we were brought from the wharf in a carriage something like our old fashioned hackney coaches with no windows or rather with all windows altogether & no glass in them. these vehicles have very elastic springs rocking backwards & forwards very much they are semi-public running from the wharves to the Hotels they have 3 seats & hold 6 persons.
