please write to him he is so lonely in the Hospital alone a letter from you would cheer him so much. he will be in the Hospital a long while yet. as soon as he is well enough he will go home.  Oh!  ho!  here is an order for a three days Scout, to Start at 4 O,clock in the morning it is now 9 P.M.  and I have every thing to fix.  I will write again as soon as we return.  I am almost as sleepy now as I was the night I left you Saturday out near the gate  Oh you looked so pretty standing there in the bright moon light as I rattled away in the buggy.  well I must quit writing and get ready for the Scout.  
Remember me to your Ma and all the family, my love to you and Sallie,  a good night kiss to you remember to pray for Brother Milt and I (Vertically, at right:-) at Sun Set Yours with affection true Ace Mann (Upside-down, at head of page:-) I would have written more if it had not been for the Scout.
