Memphis Tenn, July 16/64 My Dear Sister Susie I am again to the old camp, the day after I wrote to Abner which was the 13" Sergt. Smith went out and relieved me from my duty for a few days I will remain in Camp untill monday at which time I will have to report at Lagrang and take my place again., the weather is very warm and the dust is so thick when we march that we can hardly see the man before us in rank. my health continues good. we have not heard from the Regt. since I wrote last I am very anxious to hear from the Comp. Jack Lovelady is alittle better than he was when I wrote to Abner. Mr. Henry Chapman died on the eavening of the 7th. the most of the men that
